Un matrimonio y su hijo --mayor de edad-- han sido evacuados debido a un incendio registrado en la noche de este lunes en su vivienda que obligó a desalojar un edificio en Santiago de Compostela.

Según han relatado fuentes de los Bomberos de Santiago a Europa Press, recibieron el aviso a las 22,25 horas del lunes a través del 112 Galicia por un incendio en una vivienda con personas dentro ubicada en el 4ºB del número 203 de la Avenida de Lugo.

Por ello, desplazaron al lugar cuatro vehículos, dos de ellos con autoescalera, y nueve efectivos. Cuando llegaron, han indicado los bomberos, el fuego sobresalía por la fachada, por lo que accedieron a la vivienda tanto por el interior como por el exterior.

Al llegar los tres moradores de la vivienda incendiada ya estaban fuera y fueron evacuados con síntomas de intoxicación al Hospital Clínico de Santiago, mientras que el resto de inquilinos del inmueble, de cuatro plantas, fueron desalojados.

Los bomberos apuntaron a que el incendio comenzó en el salón del domicilio, la zona más afectada, mientras que el resto de la vivienda resultó afectada por humo y gases. Por el momento se desconoce el origen del fuego, han manifestado las mismas fuentes.

Sobre las 23,00 horas el incendio estaba controlado y poco después extinguido. Los bomberos regresaron al parque sobre las 00,00 horas tras revisar la estructura del inmueble y ventilarlo con un ventilador eléctrico para facilitar el retorno del resto de vecinos.

No obstante, por cuestiones de "seguridad" el morador de la vivienda adyacente a la afectada por el fuego ha pasado la noche en otro domicilio, han concretado las mismas fuentes.

Además de los bomberos han sido movilizados la Policía Local, la Policía Nacional y el 061.
